Join us to watch a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing with a discussion on how to spread the word within our community afterwards.
For our first film night for the 2026/27 season we'll be showing the "People's Emergency Briefing".
The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record.
The next step is to take this vital message across the UK, bringing together people from across local communities to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the film starting at 7pm sharp. Our screening of the 50-minute film will be followed by tea and cake, with a group discussion over what we can do next, and how we can spread the word across our community.
We suggest a ticket price of £2 to cover our costs, but if cost is a barrier for you to attend this event, please select 'name your price' and enter 0.00 as your chosen price, and you won't be charged.
