This specially commissioned collaboration from musician Aurora Engine and writers JL Williams, Dean Atta and Kirsty Loga explores life transitions, fusing music, voice, electronica, poetry and performance in a singular, striking soundscape.
Closing the festival, we’re thrilled to share a new collaboration from musician Aurora Engine and poets JL Williams, Dean Atta and Kirsty Logan. This three-act piece fuses music, voice, electronica, poetry and performance in a singular striking soundscape that explores the transitions that shape our lives – pregnancy, birth and matrescence, coming of age, and death and grief – and the waiting, stasis and subsequent flurry action or emotion that often accompany them. This new work, specially commissioned for the festival, promises to be haunting and holding, magical and meaningful.
